OUR RENTAL CABINS … will delight you!

Located in the southern Adirondack Mountains about a half hour northwest of Lake George, our historic property offers gorgeous forty acres of beautiful land … mountain views, wildflower meadows, privacy and several unique vacation cabins for your pleasure.

Our rates are between $125 and $225 a day and include linens, firewood and a unique place to getaway from it all.  We enjoy having guests and work to accommodate your needs and schedule.  All our places have a fireplace or woodstove, and an outdoor fire pit with Adirondack chairs for stargazing at night. Dogs are welcome and will enjoy playing with our lab dog Sammy.  We have chickens in the summer, and year round our old Pony Boy wanders around, sometimes visiting our rental cabins in the hope of getting an apple or carrot tossed to him.

The property has been in my family for 105 years, and after a lifetime of dreaming about it, I moved up here full time four years ago, enrolling my daughters in the local school and spending my days restoring the historic structures, plowing in the winter with my four wheeler, mowing and gardening in the summer.  Given the lack of jobs up here, the other thing that I’ve been able to make money at is renting out our property to lovely people who come up for a getaway in the Adirondacks so I work hard to make sure my guests have a great time.

Here’s what we have to offer:

HISTORIC BIRD CAMP:  Built in 1910 by my great-grandparents, this “camp” is now a winterized cabin.  It retains many of the treasures of yesteryear … Oriental rugs, furniture and fabrics from its original construction … but I’ve added plumbing, wiring, heating, a bathroom and a kitchen.  There are two bedrooms upstairs, each with double beds, and in the living room is a pull out sofa and another sofa so the house sleeps 6 people comfortably.  Rates are between $175 and $225 a day.  For convenience, I like to book it on Airbnb.com where I  keep my calendar up to date, but payments can also be made by check.  For more information, click here ..

MULLON CAMP:  Built in 1922 by my grandfather, this bungalow cottage offers three bedrooms, original lovely woodwork and a screened porch overlooking Gore Mountain.  We live in this cottage, but in the summer while my daughters are downstate with their father, I offer it for rent … and enjoy sleeping in our barn loft for a change of pace.  There is a queen bed, double bed and single bed plus a sofa so it sleeps six comfortably.  Our two cats come and go through their kitty door although most of the summer, they’re outside.  Rates are $200 to $225 a night.   For more information, click here …

GUEST COTTAGE:  Built originally as a small barn, over the years this unique guest cottage has evolved into a delightful living space.  It has gorgeous views of the  mountains and is located right next to our huge vegetable garden.  There is one queen bed in the loft,  a single bed in a living room alcove and a big sofa so it sleeps 3 to 4.   Rates are $150 to $175 a night.   For more information, click here…

GLAMPING:   Known as “glamorous camping”, glamping is the new travel rage.  It’s the fun of camping without any of the hassles.  This spring, I’m building four canvas cabins in our back wildflower meadow.  These “tents” will be beautifully furnished with queen bed, battery lights, Oriental rugs and a short distance to a new bathroom which I’m building in the nearby barn.  Each “campsite” will have a grill, fire pit and water jug.  Breakfast is included and delivered to your tent.  Rates are $125 to $150 a night.  For more information, click here …
